Former General Hospital Star Johnny Wactor Dead At 37

Johnny Wactor, who played Brando Corbin on General Hospital from 2020 – 2022, has been shot and killed and Los Angeles. He was 37 years old.

Wactor’s mother, Scarlett, confirmed to TMZ that the actor was shot and killed during an attempted robbery on Saturday morning in Los Angeles. Johnny was with a coworker when they came across three men trying to steal the catalytic converter off of his car. Neither of them tried to stop the men but Wactor was shot as the men fled the scene. Paramedics were called but Johnny was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Johnny was born in Charleston, South Carolina on August 31, 1986. He got his first break on Army Wives in 2007 and his career included roles on NCIS, Westworld, Station 19, and many others. He is survived by his mother Scarlett and his two brothers, Lance and Grant. Our hearts go out to all his family, friends, and fans.
